The Brittany Foundation Finding Their Forever Home – July 2023
A non-profit humane organization dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of homeless dogs, has several dogs for adoption.
GEORGI
Look at this smiling beauty! She was left on a property to fend for herself when people moved. Our vet has estimated her age to be about one year old. We think she is most likely a Border-Aussie, which is a cross between a Border Collie and an Australian Shepherd.
She certainly displays all of their characteristics. Georgi is smart, loving, curious, athletic, and would much rather be working than sitting still. She will need an adopter who understands that she needs to be on the move and constantly learning new things. She will do best in a home or on a ranch with room to run so she can reach top speeds during a zoomie session.
JOEY
This sweet, soulful face is just 9 months old. As a puppy, he was adopted, then re-homed, and then they decided they could not care for him, which is how he ended up here with us. So, in a very short period of time, he has had three different homes that we know of. This little guy is a gem; he loves everyone, gets along great with other dogs his own size, walks wonderfully on a leash, and he only weighs 16 pounds. This sweet, scruffy-faced pup would make a great addition any family. You can see more videos of him on our Instagram page, @thebrittanyfoundation.
