SCV 40 Under Forty Nominations Are Now Open Help Us – Find the Class of 2023

SCV 40 Under Forty is an award ceremony that honors 40 individuals (from ages 18-40) that are dedicated, passionate, and heart-led who actively work and lead others toward a better, brighter future within the Santa Clarita Valley and its neighboring communities.
JCI Santa Clarita and Santa Clarita Magazine are proud to announce that nomination submissions for this year’s SCV 40 under Forty is open now and close on September 8, 2023.
This year, Aimee FIshwick, Jessica Escorza, and Fallon Nelms are co-chairing this event. All three have won this award in the past, and they are very excited to take the lead this year.
“I took the opportunity to chair 40 under forty because It would be a great honor to help recognize the individuals that give back to their community and honor their ambition,” said co-chair Aimee Fishwick.
“I decided to be one of the co-chairs of SCV 40 Under Forty because of the unforgettable night I had when I was one of the nominees for class of 2022. I have never been so proud to participate in such a profound event and I want to help create another remarkable night for the class of 2023 because of their dedication to the Santa Clarita community, they deserve a night in their honor. Since I am an event planner, I am honored to provide my skills to the committee and be one of the co-chairs that will plan a remarkable night for the Class of 2023,” co-chair Fallon Nelms.
“SCV 40 Under Forty highlights and honors incredible men and women in this valley, it allows others to see the hard work and dedication that individuals are doing to make our valley the best that it can be. As a member of the class of 2022, this night holds a special place because it opened up so many doors for me. I took the opportunity to help co-chair this event because I want to be a part of giving the class of 2023 that same feeling! It is a time to celebrate them and planning 40 under Forty with this team of amazing members is an honor,” said co-chair Jessica Escorza.
Now is the time to start nominating your friends, family members and colleagues following this criteria:
1. Must be between 18 and 39 years of age as of November 9, 2023.
2. Must serve in a leadership role in their work or volunteer life.
3. Must either work or live in the regions listed: Santa Clarita Valley, which includes the geographic boundaries of Castaic, Canyon Country, Valencia, Saugus, Newhall, Stevenson Ranch, Agua Dulce, and Acton; or Antelope Valley, which includes the geographic boundaries of Palmdale and Lancaster or the San Fernando Valley,
4. Is not a past 40 Under Forty Honoree.
