Fall Animal Care The Gentle Barn

At The Gentle Barn, winter is all about keeping the animals warm, summer is about keeping the animals cool, and spring and fall are about keeping the animals healthy. Starting this month, we are collecting fecal samples from all our animals and treating them for parasites accordingly. We are trimming cow hooves, our equine dentist will be coming to check our horses and donkeys’ teeth, and our veterinarian will be coming to do wellness checks on everyone.
Fall is very busy for our animal care team, but a perfect time to visit. The sun is shining, the sky is bright blue, and there is a sweet breeze kissing your cheek. Come celebrate fall with us and our rescued animals. We would love to have you!
The Gentle Barn is a national non-profit organization in Santa Clarita with locations in St. Louis, Missouri and Nashville, Tennessee. We are home to animals rescued from trauma and host to people with the same stories. We are open to the public on Sundays and host private tours, field trips, birthday parties, and cow hug therapy sessions.
