The Brittany Foundation Finding Their Forever Home – October 2023
A non-profit humane organization dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of homeless dogs, has several dogs for adoption.
BON BON
She’s a Chigi! (Chihuahua and Corgi) While we can’t be completely sure of that, she sure looks and acts like one. Not too long ago, she was on her final plea at a Los Angeles County shelter and in need of immediate rescue because she was labeled a medical case. It turns out that after surgery to repair her eye, she is perfectly fine. We think she is about 6 years old. She gets along with other dogs her own size, loves attention, and is very affectionate. She is delightful and would make a perfect companion.
LOUIE
This adorable 2 year old Mauzer (Maltese and Schnauzer) was surrendered to us when his person became too ill to care for him and there were no family members who could take him in. He was terrified for the first few weeks he was here, but now he’s doing amazing! He is great with other dogs, loves to go for walks, and every toy here at The Ranch ends up in his room. He’s a rare find and would surely become someone’s heart dog. Adopt Louie!
MIA
This sweet pibble princess is with us because her family lost their home, but that was over a year ago! We so want to find this precious senior a home of her very own. She loves everyone, takes short leisurely walks, and if she could be placed with other animals, we are sure she would have been adopted a long time ago. If you or anyone you know is looking for a solo princess, please send them our way. You can see more videos of Mia and all of our adoptable pups on our Instagram page: @thebrittanyfoundation.
DUKE
This handsome senior has been in and out of the county shelter more times than we can count, due to no fault of his own. The shelter listed his age at 14, but he sure does not act 14. He’s always first in line for walks and patrols the play yard like it’s his job. He gets along with other dogs his own size, walks wonderfully on a leash, and would most definitely be a “best friend forever”. He has so much living left to do. If you have a soft spot for seniors, make an appointment to meet Duke. He’s truly a special catch.
