American Cancer Society Honors Cancer Survivors
The American Cancer Society Relay For Life® of Santa Clarita Valley would like to cordially invite the cancer survivors in our community and their caregivers to a celebration of hope on March 16, 2024, at the Santa Clarita Elks Lodge #2379 located at 17766 Sierra Highway. The dinner event takes place from 5:00-9:00pm and includes raffles, speakers, music, photo opportunities, a luminaria slide show, and more! The maximum capacity from this dinner event is 160 guests. To ensure a spot, those interested in attending must register as a survivor at SCVRelay.org and then email survivors@scvrelay.org to sign up for the dinner with one caregiver/guest per survivor.
For businesses that are interested in partnering with the American Cancer Society to honor and support cancer survivors, sponsorship opportunities are available for the March 16th event. These range from $250-$3,000. Please reach out to survivors@scvrelay.org to learn more about these opportunities and how your business can be highlighted at the event.
The Survivor and Caregiver Dinner is one of many events leading up to Relay For Life® of Santa Clarita Valley held on May 4, 2024, from 9:00am to 9:00pm. The event takes place at Central Park located at 27150 Bouquet Canyon Road. With its theme of “May The Cure Be With You,” this free and family-friendly event features live entertainment, games, vendors, children’s activities, raffle drawings, food trucks, cancer awareness education, and loads of fun.
The moving and inspirational Luminaria lap takes place at sunset. Participants carry lights and walk the track amid decorated illuminated bags, each dedicated to honoring a survivor or memorializing a lost loved one.
More than just a fundraising walk, the Relay For Life movement brings together passionate supporters who embody the American Cancer Society’s vision to end cancer as we know it, for everyone. If you haven’t already, you are invited to sign up and join a team or start one of your own. Encourage your friends, family, and coworkers to join a team at www.SCVRelay.org
Help the American Cancer Society ensure that everyone has an opportunity to prevent, detect, treat, and survive cancer.
