St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church Welcomes You!
The people of St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, Santa Clarita, have been reflecting the Light of Christ since 1963. We’re known as a community that’s grounded by tradition, striving for justice for all people, and growing in our understanding of faith. We welcome all people, whoever they are and wherever they are 0n their spiritual journey.
Deeply rooted in a commitment to follow Jesus, the core of our existence is a devotion to our baptismal vows to “seek and serve Christ in all persons,” to “strive for justice and peace among all people” and to “respect the dignity of every human being.” We welcome with open arms people of all ages, races, ethnicities, economic status, sexual and gender identities. There will be no outcasts at St. Stephen’s. This is a safe and sacred space for all and that certainly includes you!
Foundational to our belief system is a thoughtful combination of scripture, tradition, and reason. Keeping these in balance in a complex and modern world, helps us work together to proclaim God’s unconditional love for all people while navigating the complexities of life and contending with the inevitable questions that arise on a dynamic journey of faith.
Our mission is to be a loving and inclusive community bringing people to unity with God and each other in Christ through relationship, prayer, worship, and service. We’re called to love our neighbors as ourselves and to proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ by how we live and move and breathe while doing all we can to help make God’s realm a reality.
Community life is anchored by Sunday worship experience with services at 7:45AM and 10:30AM, and our beloved St. Stephen’s Preschool which operates Monday through Friday. For more information visit www.st-stephens.org or find us on Facebook@StStephensSCV.
