The Shutter World experience – we are a family-owned and operated window treatment business located in the Santa Clarita Valley. Shutter World was established in 1996 by Bryan and Anita Buhtz but we are proud to have experience in the industry for much longer. Bryan began installing shutters in the San Fernando Valley and learning all aspects of window treatments in 1986. When we decided to start our own shutter business, we began by working out of a home office, an oversized garage in Burbank, California. Several years later the business had expanded considerably and we had outgrown our home workspace. In 1999, Shutter World moved to an industrial space in Valencia and we moved to here to raise our family. We’re proud to have built a solid reputation in the industry and with clients in the communities we have called home over the years. Since 2007 Shutter World has purchased and made its home in the Rye Canyon Business Park in Valencia.
Our mission is to provide our customers with only the highest quality window treatments and excellent customer service at a competitive price. Shutter World not only sees repeat customers in the event of a move or from ordering additional window treatments, but past customers also consistently refer us to neighbors, friends, and family.
Custom wood shutters are our specialty and we also offer a wide selection of window blinds and shades. We aim to offer a vast range of products to suit nearly any need and work with reputable manufacturers in the industry. Shutter World sells, installs, and services our entire product line.
