The Brittany Foundation Finding Their Forever Home – May 2024

A non-profit humane organization dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of homeless dogs, has several dogs for adoption.

MARLOWE

This feisty little fella was in a race against time in the East Valley Shelter and in immediate danger of being euthanized before we were able to welcome him here to The Ranch. We were told he lived in one home for 11 years, and they surrendered him due to behavioral and medical issues. He’s been here for several months and is quite literally “the life of the party.” He is doing great with everyone, dogs his own size included, and takes no medication. He has energy for days, loves toys, and literally skips on his walks. If you are looking to add pure love and laughter to your life while giving a senior a second chance, he’s the guy for you.

HOLLY

She was adopted as a puppy from another rescue, then returned to that rescue when she was 5 years old because they started a “family.” Then that rescue shut down, so we welcomed her here. She’s the perfect medium-sized dog, and while she is not a fan of other dogs, she is as sweet as can be with all of us. She loves leisurely mornings and greets everyone she meets with a toy and tail wag. You can get to know her better on her highlight reel on our Instagram page @thebrittanyfoundation or, better yet, set up a time to meet her.
CHIP

This charming, big bundle of joy was discovered abandoned on a highway with another dog. Both dogs were brought to the Castaic shelter, where the other was quickly adopted. However, Chip’s wait was longer, and he grew increasingly stressed in the kennel environment. Eventually, he was at risk of being euthanized before we welcomed him here. He is a playful American Bulldog mix, two years old, and wants to please. For the right adopter, we’ll even cover the costs of Chip’s additional training to ensure a smooth transition. MIA

She is the first dog guests and new volunteers meet when they come here, so that tells you a lot about her. Mia loves everyone! She is with us because her family lost their home, but that has been going on for two years now. We so want to find this sweet senior a home of her very own. She takes short leisurely walks but would much rather run around in a yard. If she could be placed with other animals, we are sure she would have been adopted a long time ago. If you, or anyone you know, is looking for a solo pibble princess, please send them our way. You can see more videos of Mia and all of our adoptable pups on our Instagram page. @thebrittanyfoundation
