The Brittany Foundation Finding Their Forever Home
A non-profit humane organization dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of homeless dogs, has several dogs for adoption.
HOLLY
She was adopted as a puppy from another rescue, then returned to that rescue when they started a “family.” Then that rescue shut down, so we welcomed her here. Holly has now lived over 5 years of her life in a rescue. She’s the perfect medium-sized dog, and, while she is not a fan of other dogs or kids, she is as sweet as can be with all of us. She loves leisurely mornings and greets everyone she meets with a toy and tail wag. You can get to know her better on her highlight reel on our Instagram page or better yet, set up a time to meet her!
CHIP
This charming, big bundle of joy was discovered abandoned on a highway with another dog. Both dogs were brought to the Castaic shelter, where the other was quickly adopted. However, Chip’s wait was longer, and he grew increasingly stressed in the kennel environment. Eventually, he was at risk of being euthanized before we welcomed him here. He is a playful American Bulldog mix and is two years old. For the right adopter, we’ll cover the costs of Chip’s additional training to ensure a smooth transition into a home life. SNOOPY
Before we welcomed him here in 2022, he lived in one home for 8 years but tragically lost his person to illness. He was adopted later that year in what we thought would be his forever home, but unfortunately, he is back with us here at The Ranch, through no fault of his own. Our focus now is to find him a wonderful and loving home where he can live out his senior years knowing nothing but love and kindness. He would prefer to be the “only fur child” as he is not a fan of other dogs or cats. He’s silly, fun, and so loving. More often than not, you’ll catch a smile on his little face.
MIA
She is the first dog that new volunteers and guests meet when they visit us, so that tells you a lot about her. Mia loves everyone! She is with us because her family lost their home, but that was two years ago now. We so want to find this sweet senior a home of her very own. She takes short leisurely walks but would much rather run around in a yard. She is a princess and so we plan to place her as the only pampered pup in her new home. You can see more videos of Mia and all of our adoptable pups on our Instagram page.
