Over the years, Steven advanced from a laborer to a project manager, demonstrating remarkable dedication and leadership. While managing projects, he pursued his education, earning an associate’s degree in engineering from College of the Canyons and a bachelor’s degree in civil and environmental engineering from the University of California, Irvine. His academic journey was complemented by practical experience as a plan checker for the City of Costa Mesa and leadership roles in organizations such as the American Society of Civil Engineers and Global Engineering Brigades. Steven’s professional career is marked by diverse experiences, including roles as a structural engineer at Coffman Engineers and Malsam-Tsang Structural Engineers, where he contributed to designing multi-family structures and post-tensioned concrete podiums. His expertise further expanded at HSA Structural Engineering, focusing on tilt-up warehouses. In 2023, Steven returned to Randal G.
