Vote Dr. Aakash Ahuja for Hart School Board
Hello, fellow parents and community members, My name is Dr. Aakash Ahuja. I am a Board-Certified psychiatrist MD and mental health expert.
As an immigrant from India who has spent over two decades in the United States, Santa Clarita has become my family’s home. My wife and I are proud parents of two children who attend schools in the Hart district. Like all parents, we want our children to have the best opportunities in life, and I believe that starts with a quality education.
However, Kids, now a days are dealing with so many issues which you and me did not have to face. Their test scores are on the decline, mental health concerns are on the rise. Kids are spending more time on video games, smart phones and social media and are lacking the real connections and friendships.
I am running for the Hart School Board, District 1, as I believe that my experience as a psychiatrist allows me to bring a unique perspective to the school board, oMering real solutions to these pressing problems.
I am the only candidate running whose kids are currently studying in the Hart School District which helps me to understand the students, parents and teachers better than other candidates.
My priority will be to foster an environment where every student can excel academically and emotionally. I will work tirelessly to strengthen the mental health of our students, to ensure our children are educated about the dangers of drugs and distractions and to strengthen the measures to keep them safe in collaboration with our sheriM Department.
I have been attending Hart School Board meetings consistently for the last 2 years, have met hundreds of parents and understand their concerns. I spearheaded restricting the smartphones from our Junior High Schools.
A new generation deserves a new kind of leadership—one that listens, understands, and acts. Please learn more about the campaign at www.DrAForHart.com. I hope to earn your support and Vote. Thank you
