As a first-generation citizen, I’ve lived the American Dream. After graduating from the U.S. Naval Academy in the top 3% of my class, I went on to serve nearly two decades as a fighter pilot, flying over thirty combat missions during Operation Iraqi Freedom as one of the first F/A-18E Super Hornet pilots in the Navy. After my military service, I turned my focus to my family and community, becoming a local businessman responsible for creating hundreds of jobs. It is the honor of my life to now serve the community that shaped me, and I will always put California families over politics.
While I’m no longer in the cockpit, my fight for you and the country never stops. That’s why I’m working to end inflation, turn our economy around, and support our law enforcement and crack down on crime while fighting back against failed soft-on-crime policies like Props 47 and 57. It’s not just about protecting our nation but ensuring that families can thrive in safe and prosperous communities.
I am committed to ending the inflation crisis and strengthening California’s economy to ensure economic security for our families. I introduced the Inflation Prevention Act to stop reckless spending that drives up our cost of living and will continue to fight for lower taxes, including repealing the SALT deduction cap, so Californians can keep more of what they earn. I have also been a staunch defender of Prop 13 to ensure homeowners are protected from skyrocketing property taxes.
From the cockpit to Congress, security has always been at the heart of my mission—whether it’s national security, economic security, neighborhood security, border security, or Social Security. I’m committed to ensuring that California families are safe, supported, and have the opportunities they need to thrive. I will continue fighting for Californians by cutting taxes, fighting to end the inflation crisis and turn our economy around, and restoring safety in our communities. I’ve devoted my life to defending our precious freedoms, and I’ll continue that mission in Congress to ensure a brighter, more secure future for CA-27.
