The Nutcracker – Dance Studio 84
For over 30 years Dance Studio 84 has been performing the Nutcracker Ballet right here in Santa Clarita! Each year with new choreography, professional costumes and the dedication of 200 ballerinas.
The Nutcracker is the story of a girl named Clara who receives a Christmas gift of a Nut-cracker from her Uncle Drosselmeir. Her rambunctious little brother Fritz is gifted with a toy mouse. After their family’s joyful Christmas party is over, Clara falls asleep and dreams that her Nutcracker and Fritz’s mouse come to life! They battle, the Nutcracker wins and turns into her Prince. The Prince takes Clara through the Snow Forest and to the Land of the Sweets, where all of the beautiful ballerinas perform for them. At the end of the show, Clara wakes up to realize it was just a dream- and an amazingly wonderful dream, to say the least!
Dance Studio 84’s production will take place at the Hart High School Auditorium on December 21 & 22. All of our ballet students will be performing, but those who desired lead roles attended our auditions in August. Some of our highlighted dancers include Stella Cazares as Clara, Isabella Garza as the Sugarplum Fairy, Isabelle Dibene as the Dewdrop Fairy and Katie Elliot as the Snow Queen. All of our students are working so hard to make this a spectacular show that you won’t want to miss! For ticket information, please call Dance Studio 84 at 661-775-7655. We hope to see you there!
