Touch-A-Truck – A Hands-On Adventure for Families in Santa Clarita
The Touch-A-Truck event, organized by the Santa Clarita Valley Education Foundation, is a beloved community tradition held at Central Park on Saturday, November 2. This family-friendly event invites children to explore a variety of vehicles, including fire trucks, police cars, and construction equipment. Kids can climb inside, honk horns, and learn about the important roles these vehicles play in the community.
In addition to the hands-on experiences, Touch-A-Truck features interactive demonstrations by local experts who explain the technology and tools they use. The event also includes fun activities like face painting, food trucks, and live music, ensuring a memorable day for families.
All proceeds benefit the SCV Education Foundation, which supports educational programs in Santa Clarita Valley schools. Touch-A-Truck not only provides a day of excitement but also fosters community connections and inspires the next generation of learners and leaders. It’s a fantastic way for families to come together, learn, and celebrate the essential services that keep their community thriving.
