Vote Dr. Aakash Ahuja for Hart School Board
Hello, Fellow Parents and Community Members,
My name is Dr. Aakash Ahuja, and I am running for the Hart School board, Trustee Area-1.
I would like to thank you to all of you for the tremendous support and am thrilled that many of you have already voted for me. I sincerely appreciate it and promise that you would be happy with your decision. I am the only candidate in this race who has kids currently studying in the Hart District and understand very well what issues students, parents and teachers face on a day-to-day basis.
As many of you know, I am a Board-Certified psychiatrist MD and mental health expert. As an immigrant from India who has spent over two decades in the United States, Santa Clarita has become my family’s home.
Like all parents, me and my wife want our children to have the best opportunities in life, and I believe that starts with a quality education.
However, kids, now a days are dealing with so many issues which you and I did not have to face. Their test scores are on the decline, mental health concerns are on the rise. Kids are spending more time on video games, smartphones and social media and are lacking the real connections and friendships.
I am running for the Hart School Board, District 1, as I believe that my experience as a psychiatrist allows me to bring a unique perspective to the school board, oOering real solutions to these pressing problems.
My priority will be to foster an environment where every student can excel academically and emotionally. I will work tirelessly to strengthen the mental health of our students, to ensure our children are educated about the dangers of drugs and distractions and to strengthen the measures to keep them safe in collaboration with our sheriO Department.
I have been attending Hart School Board meetings consistently for the last 2 years, have met hundreds of parents and understand their concerns. I spearheaded restricting the smartphones from our Junior High Schools.
A new generation deserves a new kind of leadership—one that listens, understands, and acts. Please learn more about the campaign at www.DrA4Hart.com.
I hope to earn your support and Vote.
