2024 Holiday Home Tour– Hearts Aglow Wrap Up
The 2024 Holiday Home Tour at Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital kicked off the holiday season with a week of remarkable events. Filled with heartfelt joy, this year’s theme—“Hearts Aglow”—was a perfect reflection to raising funds for the Roberta G. Veloz Cardiovascular Services.
The festivities began Wednesday evening at the VIP event hosted in a stunning Williams Ranch Home. Guests sipped festive cocktails and enjoyed personal tours, with a memorable highlight being the presence of Betty Burke-Oldfield, the visionary who created the Home Tour over 44 years ago. Attendees joined in celebrating her remarkable 97th birthday, making it a night to remember.
Friday’s Gala sponsored by SCREM, Inc. welcomed nearly 300 guests virtually touring three beautifully decorated homes and hearing heartfelt words from Henry Mayo President and CEO Kevin Klockenga. The event was supported by local supporters, donors, community leaders, and physicians, all united in support of this wonderful cause. Dr. Louie-Marc Contreras expressed gratitude to the dedicated physicians for their exceptional care in the Roberta G. Veloz Cardiovascular Services, inspiring everyone present. The evening concluded with an exciting auction, spirited dancing, and hearts aglow with love for Henry Mayo.
The weekend wrapped up on Sunday with a lively boutique sponsored by Williams Homes. Families and friends enjoyed holiday shopping, delicious offerings from food trucks, and festive photos with Santa, leaving everyone with warm holiday memories and joy.
