A Holiday Message from the Santa Clarita Magazine – December 2024
As the year comes to a close, we at the Santa Clarita Magazine are delighted to send our warmest holiday wishes to all of you! This season is not only a time for celebration but also an opportunity to reflect on the incredible community spirit that defines our valley.
November has been a whirlwind of activity, and our “On the Town” features throughout this issue showcase the vibrancy of Santa Clarita. From galas to fundraisers, these events highlight the dedication of individuals working tirelessly for our local non-profits. It’s always inspiring to see the ways our community comes together to support meaningful causes.
On the cover of this issue, we’re proud to spotlight three exceptional organizations that embody the giving spirit of the holidays:
JCI Santa Clarita is gearing up for their annual Santa’s Helpers event. You can be a part of the magic by donating unwrapped toys at their drop-off locations or volunteering to make Christmas unforgettable for children in need.
The passionate team at The Salvation Army works rain or shine to collect funds for programs that support the homeless in our valley. Join them as a volunteer or make a donation to help those who need it most.
Celebrating over 50 years of enriching our community with live performances, the Canyon Theatre Guild invites you to enjoy their holiday production, Christmas Carol: The True Meaning of Christmas. This heartwarming adaptation of Charles Dickens’ timeless classic is sure to fill you with the holiday spirit.
There’s lots going on at Valencia Town Center it’s brimming with excitement. From cherished family traditions to new and exciting experiences, take the kids, celebrate the season and make memories that will last a lifetime. See page 26.
Old Town Newhall continues to be a hub of festive cheer, and this year’s Tree Lighting event was a standout success. Thousands gathered to enjoy local vendors, restaurants, and the joy of the season. Kudos to the City of Santa Clarita for creating such a magical evening!
We’d like to take a moment to congratulate the winners of our local elections! Your dedication to public service and commitment to our community inspire us all. We look forward to seeing the positive changes you will bring to our valley in the coming years. Turn to page 46 to review the winners.
This issue also celebrates the future leaders of our community with a special section dedicated to the SCV 40 Under Forty Class of 2024 winners. Don’t miss this inspiring showcase of talent and dedication, starting on page 48.
As we wrap up the year, we’re also gearing up for something exciting: the January/February issue of élite Magazine, where we’ll announce the winners of our Ultimate Ladies in Business Awards. Stay tuned!
Wishing you a joyful holiday season filled with love, laughter, and community spirit. Stay safe and enjoy every moment!
