Kristina Navarro, honored as one of SCV’s 40 Under Forty, is a standout figure in the mental health community. As the owner of Kristina Navarro Therapy, she provides exceptional individual and family therapy, focusing on parent coaching and family-intensive programs. Her work is grounded in creating real, positive change for her clients.
In addition to her private practice, Kristina serves as Clinical Director at Ascend Healthcare, where she oversees clinical operations at a residential treatment center for adolescents. She ensures individualized care and empowers families through therapy, maintaining high clinical standards and compliance.
Kristina’s education includes a Master of Social Work from CSU Northridge, with a focus on Mental Health and Addiction Treatment, and a BA in Psychology from CSU Channel Islands. She is trained in EMDR, DBT, and CBT, and is known for her compassionate, trauma-informed approach to therapy.
