Rand Pinsky: Celebrating 50 Years of Family Law Representation – The Reape-Rickett Law Firm

2024 marks many milestones, 100 years since the discovery of universes beyond the Milky Way, the 50th anniversary or Hank Aaron breaking Babe Ruth’s Home Run record, and Attorney Rand E. Pinsky celebrating his 50th anniversary as a lawyer.
After receiving his Juris Doctor from Southwestern University, Rand passed the bar in 1974 and established his firm, the Law Office of Rand E. Pinsky, in Van Nuys. For the first several years of his career, Mr. Pinsky practiced a wide variety of legal services while maintaining a focus on family law matters. After a brief foray into title litigation, Mr. Pinsky returned to family law and established an office in Westlake and Agoura Hills before relocating to Valenica in the early 2000’s.
For twenty years Mr. Pinsky represented families across the Santa Clarita Valley through their family law matter. Uniquely suited to understanding the intensely personal and stressful environment that is family law, Mr. Pinsky helps his clients by bringing a calm and level-headed approach to resolving matters and encourages clients to focus on solutions and their health, not all the “what ifs.” During this time, Rand saw that many families didn’t need traditional litigation to resolve their divorce, but that mediation could provide a less contentious pathway to dissolving a marriage. In 2014, Mr. Pinsky established the Divorce Mediation Center of Santa Clarita to provide dedicated family law mediation services. Through the Center, Mr. Pinsky has helped hundreds of families find equitable resolution for their divorce while saving them thousands of dollars in court appearances and fees.
After decades as a sole practitioner, Mr. Pinsky joined The Reape-Rickett Law Firm, Santa Clarita’s largest family law firm, as an Of Counsel Attorney in 2020. As a member of the firm, Mr. Pinsky leverages his decades of litigation and mediation experience to guide families through their family law matter with an expanded practice area, and increased capabilities to assist in complex cases.
