A Note From the Publishers – April 2025
Spring is here, bringing fresh energy, community celebrations, and exciting events across Santa Clarita! As we welcome the new season, we are thrilled to feature four outstanding organizations on the cover of this month’s Santa Clarita Magazine, each hosting signature events that bring people together for meaningful causes.
First, The Beat Goes On, presented by the Santa Clarita Master Chorale, will take place on April 26. This highly anticipated Cabaret & Cabernet concert will showcase a mix of timeless music while guests enjoy wine, appetizers, dinner and a lively atmosphere at the Hyatt Regency Valencia. Celebrating 25 years of incredible performances, the Master Chorale continues to inspire audiences and keep the love of choral music alive in Santa Clarita.
Next, the SCV Senior Center’s Celebrity Waiter Celebration Broadway Lights, returns on April 26 at Bella Vida Senior Center. This fun-filled, themed event is one of the most popular fundraisers in town! Local celebrities and community leaders decorate their table and help raise funds for essential programs benefiting our beloved senior citizens. This year, as budget cuts affect senior services, it’s more important than ever to show our support.
Food lovers won’t want to miss Taste of the Town, benefiting the Child & Family Center, on May 4 at Blomgren Ranch. This event offers an unforgettable afternoon of fine dining, featuring unlimited tastings from top local restaurants, wineries, and breweries. Attendees will enjoy live music, auctions, and an opportunity to support mental health and domestic violence services that serve over 1,000 local children, teens, and families every month.
And for car enthusiasts, the WiSH Foundation’s WiSH Upon A Car Showcase will take place on on Saturday, May 31, from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm at the former Sears parking lot at Westfield Valencia Town Center. This event highlights stunning classic and custom cars while raising funds for local public schools in the William S. Hart School District. Guests can enjoy a fun-filled evening with food, drinks, and entertainment while contributing to student programs that enrich education across Santa Clarita.
Spring has also arrived in full swing at Valencia Town Center, where new store openings, seasonal décor, and plenty of shopping and dining experiences await. And let’s not forget that April brings Easter, a time for family gatherings, festive brunches, and Easter egg hunts across the valley.
