Santa Clarita’s Olive Branch Theatricals Announces Breaking Up Is Hard To Do
Breaking Up Is Hard To Do is the latest gem from Olive Branch Theatricals, and you won’t want to miss it! This side-splitting and heartwarming tale pays homage to the legendary Neil Sedaka, featuring a delightful parade of twenty of his greatest hits, like “Oh Carol,” “Laughter in the Rain,” “Stupid Cupid,” and “Solitaire.”
Picture this: It’s Labor Day weekend 1960, and best buds Marge and Lois are busting out of Brooklyn for a much-needed getaway at Esther’s Paradise Resort in the Catskills. Fresh off a breakup, they’re on the prowl for romance “Where The Boys Are.” And boy, do they find it in the quirkiest of places! But will this newfound love chase away their “Lonely Nights?” Toss in a surprise guest from American Bandstand who might just save the resort, and you’ve got a tale that’ll have audiences grinning from ear to ear!
With a talented cast including Aubrie Alexander, Jay Arella, Rena Bailey-Barrett, Castello Domingo, Jim Yannotta, and Jo Im, along with Vocal Direction by Ayla Lippencott and Choreography by Annette Sinitia Duran, expect a rollercoaster of laughter, longing, and a whole lot of love! Folks of a certain age might even find it impossible not to sing along!
Catch the fun at The Olive Branch, the fab performance space by Olive Branch Theatricals at The Patios in Valencia Town Center. Shows run on weekends from March 29th to April 13th. Grab your tickets at www.tob-scv.org, and don’t forget—group rates are up for grabs!
Breaking Up is Hard To Do is presented through special arrangement with and licensed by Theatrical Rights Worldwide (TRW).
