Get Real: Adulting 101 2025

by | Apr 29, 2025 | On The Town

JCI Santa Clarita hosted its fifth Get Real: Adulting 101 event on March 29, 2025, at Rio Norte Junior High School. The free, hands-on financial education simulation gave local high school juniors and seniors the chance to practice budgeting and decision-making through a 40-minute interactive experience. Students were given fictional identities with careers and salaries, then visited booths run by local businesses to purchase essentials like housing and food. The event challenged them to navigate real-world scenarios, from surprise expenses to unexpected windfalls. For more information go to www.getrealscv.com.
