Your Story is My Story – May 2025
Thank you so much to Susan Miles and Steve for giving me the opportunity to help them with their new chapter in life. I’ve known Sue and Steve for years, Sue is in my Sherman Oaks group of friends. I would see Sue at our girlie get togethers, never thinking she’d ever move away from her beloved Los Angeles and LA Dodgers. But guess where family can take you, to the children and grandchildren! I’ve had so many friends up and move to be close with family. I get it, I have two and a half grandchildren in Ohio and the pull is definitely there. Sue, Steve and I met last November to discuss their plans, the timing, what needs to be done to get their home picture perfect ready for the market. We made a plan and had the house ready by February. The rest is history! It’s definitely bittersweet to me. I got to know Sue even better, we’d have friendly chats about life and discussions daily on the market, what we needed to do, should we pivot? It all worked out and once we had all contingencies removed, within minutes they made an offer on their new home up north. Their offer got accepted and now their new life, close to family, and a new set of twins is on track! I’m so happy for their whole family. This is what life’s about. Every time I sell a house I get close with my clients/friends then wave goodbye, wishing them well on their next chapter. The Miles family is so close and now will be able to enjoy life with the new little ones. I truly miss them, and will always stay in touch. I love their story and it being part of my story. This is why I love real estate!
