Alexander Hafizi Named One of JCI USA’s 2025 Ten Outstanding Young Americans
Alexander Hafizi is now among the select group of individuals honored as one of JCI USA’s Ten Outstanding Young Americans (TOYA) for 2025—recognizing young leaders aged 18–40 who “exemplify the best attributes of the nation’s young people” . This prestigious award shines a national spotlight on those demonstrating significant achievements and positive community impact.
What is TOYA? Founded in the 1930s as Ten Outstanding Young Men and opened to women in 1985, TOYA annually celebrates up to ten exemplary young Americans across diverse categories, such as business, humanitarian leadership, scientific innovation, and civic contributions. Notable past recipients include icons like John F. Kennedy, Howard Hughes, Elvis Presley, and Peyton Manning. Winners are granted national recognition at a ceremony during the JCI USA National Meeting, complete with formal awards, a video profile, and networking opportunities.
“Being named one of the Ten Outstanding Young Americans is truly humbling. I’ve always believed that giving back to the community isn’t just a duty—it’s a privilege. This award isn’t just about me; it reflects the incredible people and organizations in Santa Clarita that I’ve had the honor of working alongside.”
— Alexander Hafizi
Why Alexander? Alexander’s dedication to community service, leadership, and youth empowerment embodies everything TOYA stands for. As a founding director and current board member of the JCI Santa Clarita Foundation and the treasurer of JCI Santa Clarita, Alexander has helped grow civic leadership programs that support young professionals. He has also co-chaired numerous large-scale fundraising events—from JCI’s SCV 40 Under Forty to the Circle of Hope’s Vine 2 Wine and Hoedown for Hope, WiSH Education Foundation’s SCV Music Festival and Cocktails on the Roof —raising vital funds and galvanizing community engagement. His marketing expertise has significantly elevated awareness for both the Circle of Hope Cancer Wellness Center and the WiSH Education Foundation, reinforcing his reputation as a dedicated community leader.
Alexander also earned recognition from JCI California’s prestigious Presidential Medallion, underscoring the impact and excellence of his ongoing volunteer efforts. His energy and vision have shaped Santa Clarita’s nonprofit and professional spheres, making meaningful, lasting contributions.
What this means: With this honor, Alexander joins a storied legacy, including media icons, national leaders, and innovators whose contributions have shaped American society. As a TOYA honoree, Alexander will join nine other exceptional young Americans at the national ceremony in Raleigh this September.
Looking ahead, Alexander’s recognition is not only a personal triumph but a celebration of Santa Clarita Valley’s spirit of service and enterprise. He continues to spearhead critical local initiatives—from youth leadership and cancer support to educational advocacy—and this national acknowledgment shines a well-deserved light on his efforts.
Please join us in congratulating Alexander Hafizi on receiving the 2025 TOYA honor. We look forward to watching how he continues to uplift our community—and our nation—through service, innovation, and heartfelt leadership.
