Brewery Draconum Family-Friendly Brewpub with Small-Batch Beer and Big Flavor
Brewery Draconum (Latin: Of the Dragons) is a family‑owned brewpub in Old Town Newhall, founded by siblings Ben and Caroline Law and built on their vision to create a one-of-a-kind community gathering spot anchored in the world of craft beer, dining and socialization.
With 20 rotating taps of mostly house-brews, a menu that incorporates their beers into dishes to create unique flavor profiles (and features seasonal rotations), and an exceptionally beautiful garden for outdoor dining, it is a true destination spot, described by some as a “hidden jewel”.
The garden is lush and large and offers a lot of flexibility in order to accommodate dining experiences for couples, families, corporate events and even large party takeovers. Plus, they have bocce ball, cornhole, and a variety of board games for entertainment!
Draconum recently introduced a cocktail menu offering a variety of mixed-drinks using agave and fermented wines (profiles of tequila, vodka & gin).
As one of SCV’s few “gastropubs,” it’s earned consistent praise: featured in local “summer dining” guides and lauded for ambiance, flavor variety, and quality craft.
Brewery Draconum nurtures community, originality, and a genuine love for what’s local.
