Canyon Theatre Guild Prepares To Kick Off Their Show-Stopping 2025-26 Season!
Canyon Theatre Guild is very excited to be presenting its brand new season of great shows. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll want to sing along – don’t miss a single one!
Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella – Adapted from the three times produced television specials, this new Broadway musical has amazing additional music, and a fun and funny script. It is still the heartfelt tale of a girl from the cinders who finds her prince.
Beautiful The Carole King Musical – The inspiring true story of Carole King’s journey from teenage songwriter to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. From the chart-topping hits she wrote for the biggest acts in music to her own life-changing, trailblazing success. Filled with the songs you remember and a story you’ll never forget.
A Christmas Story – All of the classic scenes including the exploding furnace, Scut Farkas, wet tongue on a cold lamppost, the Little Orphan Annie decoder pin, and the leg lamp are all here! Bring the whole family, heck… bring the whole neighborhood and we promise we will not “shoot your eye out kid!”
Rodgers & Hammerstein’s South Pacific – This amazing musical classic is set on a South Pacific island during World War II. This show has it all: singing, dancing, laughter, love stories, happiness and heartbreak. This story reminds us that sometimes we have to make sacrifices to make the world a better place.
Boeing Boeing – This 1960s French farce features a self-styled Parisian lothario, who has three beautiful airline hostess girlfriends. He keeps “one up, one down, and one pending,” but when they all show up unexpectedly on the same day… hysterical comedy ensues.
Wait Until Dark – Susan Hendrix, a blind yet capable woman, is imperiled by a trio of men in her own apartment. As the climax builds, Susan discovers that her blindness just might be the key to her escape, but she and her tormentors must wait until dark to play out this classic thriller’s chilling conclusion.
The SpongeBob Musical – When the citizens of Bikini Bottom discover that a volcano will soon erupt and destroy their humble home, SpongeBob and his friends must come together to save their undersea world. Audiences both young and old will love this story of how optimism can save the world!
Driving Miss Daisy – Set in the Deep South in 1948, this is the story of Daisy Werthan, a sharp-tongued, rich widow, and Hoke Colburn, her chauffeur. In a series of absorbing scenes spanning twenty-five years, the two, despite their mutual differences, grow ever closer to, and more dependent on, each other.
