Dare to Make a Difference: Go Over the Edge with WiSH Education Foundation
Have you ever wondered what it feels like to stand on the edge of a rooftop, look down, and take the plunge—harnessed in, heart racing, and crowd cheering below? Now’s your chance to find out, all while supporting an extraordinary cause that directly impacts thousands of students in our community.
Over the Edge, presented by the WiSH Education Foundation, isn’t just another fundraiser—it’s an unforgettable experience that brings together courage, community, and compassion in one electrifying event. Coming August 2, 2025, Over the Edge and WiSH Education Foundation invites everyday heroes to rappel down a multi-story building, raising funds to support the 23,000 students in the William S. Hart Union High School District.
Sound crazy? Maybe. But that’s what makes it unforgettable.
Why Go Over the Edge?
Because education matters. Because our students deserve more. Because stepping off a rooftop (with full safety gear, of course!) is a bold and thrilling way to show your support.
Every Edger who participates commits to raising a minimum of $750, and every single dollar raised goes right back into our local schools. That money funds vital programs—STEAM initiatives, wellness resources, college prep, classroom tools, mental health support, and enrichment opportunities that simply aren’t covered by standard budgets. Your daring act fuels dreams, creativity, and brighter futures.
This event is for everyone—first-time rappellers, bucket list adventurers, educators, business leaders, and anyone willing to face a little fear for a whole lot of good. The energy is contagious, and the feeling you get at the bottom? Absolutely unbeatable.
Not Quite Ready to Rappel?
Even if you’d rather cheer from the sidewalk than scale a wall, there’s a place for you at Over the Edge. Join the celebration on the ground with live entertainment, food, sponsor booths, and that electric vibe only a crowd of inspired people can create. Bring your family, bring your signs, and bring your support. It’s a community-wide event that brings everyone together for one powerful mission: helping students succeed.
Real People, Real Impact
In past years, Over the Edge has seen city officials, local celebrities, educators, and parents step off the edge—some conquering fears, others checking off bucket list items, all united by purpose. They’ve rappelled in costumes, with themed fundraising teams, and with huge grins on their faces.
One participant put it best: “I was terrified—but as soon as I touched the ground, I wanted to do it again. Knowing I helped students made it the most meaningful adventure of my life.”
Be Brave. Be Bold. Be the Difference.
The Over the Edge experience is one you’ll never forget—but the impact you make on a student’s life lasts far longer. This is your chance to show Santa Clarita what community spirit looks like from above. Spots are limited, so don’t wait!
