KHTS FM 98.1 / AM 1220 is Santa Clarita’s hometown station, broadcasting local news, traffic, sports, talk shows, and music since 1989. Originally KBET, it became KHTS under Jeri Lyn Broadcasting in 2003, moving studios to Newhall in 2015 and adding an FM translator in 2018.
Its programming is a tapestry of community life: morning shows, civic discussions, high school sports, Dodgers/Kings/NASCAR coverage—plus weather, traffic, public service updates, and adult‑contemporary hits .
KHTS has been honored locally, winning a Chamber of Commerce award in 1995. It maintains strong digital presence—broadcasting via iHeart, Instagram, and YouTube, keeping pace with listener preferences.
