Local Lending, Lasting Impact: Rhona Jukes of Logix
With more than two decades of service in Santa Clarita as a mortgage lending professional, Rhona Jukes continues to balance her career as a Real Estate Loan Officer at Logix Federal Credit Union, and her community efforts.
“It’s important to know your business, be a resource and give back,” she said. “Helping Logix members finance their first home or their last, as well as support them with other mortgage products is fulfilling. That’s why I’m committed to sharing my time any hour or day with members and Realtors.”
In May, Logix sponsored a breakfast to celebrate nurses at Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital events, as well as the Daisy Awards and the annual golf tournament. Jukes supported all three events in the same week. “It’s important to show our appreciation for our healthcare team at the hospital; they are so dedicated to making a difference,” she said.
Jukes volunteers with Soroptimists International of Greater Santa Clarita, Southland Regional Association of Realtors, and the Valley Industry Association. You’ll also see her at Concerts in the Park this summer, and several activities in the area. Jukes’ presence is a testament to her passion for giving back.
“I raised my kids in Santa Clarita and my network is here; to be able to live and work in the same space allows me to have a connection and that’s a gift. I start every day motivated to be authentic and give my clients a chance to live in their dream home.”
Purchasing a home, or getting a home equity line of credit, can be intimidating, and Jukes is committed to making sure there is a level of comfort by sharing information.
“I believe that the more you know about the process, the easier the experience will be,” she said. “It is my goal to listen and offer answers that will assist with important decisions. I treasure the opportunity to be the person they trust, and the first call they make when someone in their lives also needs my help.”
