Rescue Exhibition Now Open – Discovery Cube Los Angeles
The all-new Rescue Exhibition is now open at Discovery Cube Los Angeles, inviting families into the heart of real-life heroics. This action-packed experience puts guests at the center of daring land, sea, and air rescues—using real science, technology, and training to bring each scenario to life.
From piloting a helicopter simulator to racing against time in a jet ski rescue, visitors of all ages can take on interactive challenges that highlight the STEM behind emergency response. Use infrared cameras to scan for heat signals, navigate a smoke-filled room, and practice drone drops over a simulated ocean rescue. It’s hands-on science with a heroic twist.
The exhibition features many immersive zones, including a Fire Experience Room, a 360° Vertical Rescue Wall, the Cliff Walk Illusion, and a “Cut the Car” demo that simulates how first responders extract passengers after a crash. Younger guests can suit up in real rescue gear, explore dramatic video footage, and learn lifesaving water safety skills like how to escape a rip current.
As one of the only exhibitions of its kind in the region, Rescue offers a rare chance to experience the intensity and precision of real-life first response. Whether you’re drawn to firefighting, marine rescue, or air support, this one-of-a-kind exhibit brings it all together under one roof in a way that’s immersive, inspiring, and fun for the whole family.
With summer in full swing, now’s the perfect time to create a memory your family won’t forget. Whether it’s your child’s first time in a flight simulator or learning how to help in an emergency, these shared experiences have the power to stick long after your visit.
Special Offer: Use promo code DCLASCMag at DiscoveryCube.org to get $2 off per ticket.
Offer valid online only. Expires 7/31/25.
