SCV’s 2nd Annual Eat Drink Local Festival – A Family-Friendly Celebration of Food, Music, and Community
After an incredible turnout in 2024, the Eat Drink Local Festival is back for its highly anticipated second year—bigger, better, and even more flavorful! Mark your calendars for Saturday, June 7, 2025, and join thousands of Santa Clarita locals at Central Park from 2:00 to 8:00 PM for a heartwarming, community-powered event with a powerful mission.
This one-of-a-kind festival isn’t just about indulgence—it’s about impact. Eat Drink Local is a fundraiser created to support the more than 1,000 unhoused students and families in the William S. Hart Union High School District. With free admission, unbeatable eats, live music, family fun, and an inspiring cause, this is one summer event you won’t want to miss.
A Festival with a Purpose
The event is organized by The New Way, a local nonprofit founded by former educator Jess Guidroz, who saw firsthand how homelessness affects students’ ability to thrive.
“Folks are shocked when I tell them there are over 1,000 unhoused students in the Hart School District alone. As a former teacher at La Mesa Jr. High, I saw it firsthand. I’m grateful to the 5,000+ people who came out and rocked with us last year and provided us with the means to give back to those unhoused students,” says Jess.
This festival is proof that when a community comes together, amazing things can happen.
What to Expect:
Delicious Eats
Get ready to treat your taste buds! The event will feature a curated lineup of gourmet food trucks and pop-ups, offering everything from tacos, pizza, pasta, gyros, and lobster rolls to Texas-style BBQ, smash burgers, boba, decadent desserts, and more.
