Old Town Newhall Fine Art Festival
On October 11 and 12, the arts and entertainment district of Santa Clarita, in Old Town Newhall, will become a vibrant celebration of creativity as select artists from around the region gather to present their curated collections of exceptional fine art and craftsmanship for the community to discover, collect, and enjoy!
The first Old Town Newhall Fine Art Festival is a two-day event showcasing juried masterworks and emerging talent from fine artists and artisans local to the Santa Clarita Valley and throughout Southern California, where attendees are encouraged to walk along the 24200 block of Main Street to uncover unique and original pieces and find inspiration around every corner.
This diverse display will bring artistic excellence, with each accepted artist having been juried and selected to exhibit their work by a distinguished panel of industry judges. Only original fine art created by the applying artist is considered. Work must be handmade and handcrafted, with all licensing rights owned by the exhibiting artist. Those with the highest ratings are chosen for the final roster. Fine art refers to a specific category of art created for both intellectual and emotional engagement, as well as for aesthetic purposes, requiring technical skill and high creativity, often found in galleries. We are proud to present this captivating collection of works by such prestigious local artists.
In addition to our fine art stalls, guests of all ages will enjoy community-respected street chalk artists, face painting, and interactive art-making by ARTree, all while live musicians, many curated by SCV Bands Cast, will perform throughout the streets, bringing creativity to life in all areas of the festival.
The Old Town Newhall Fine Art Festival is surrounded by Newhall’s beloved theaters, restaurants, wine-tasting rooms, boutiques, and our own historical Western Walk of Stars!
Come for the art, stay for all Newhall has to offer.
The Old Town Newhall Fine Art Festival is brought to you by the Santa Clarita Artists Association in partnership with the Old Town Newhall Association and commissioned by Solar Optimum through the LA County Department of Arts and Culture Public Art in Private Development program. The Old Town Newhall Fine Art Festival will be held Saturday, October 11 from 10-5 and Sunday, October 12 from 10-4.
