The Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Foundation is hosting its 5th Annual Golf Tournament at Sand Canyon Country Club on September 8th, 2025. The Annual Golf Tournament is the Foundation’s biggest fundraiser and is sold out every year.
The purpose of the Foundation is to help purchase essential equipment, provide training, and fund morale-boosting activities for the deputies and staff that work hard to keep our community safe.
Examples of purchases the SCV Sheriff Foundation have funded include upgrades to the mobile emergency command center, tasers, tactical trauma kits, bulletproof vests for motorcycle officers, surveillance binoculars, active shooter training drills, therapy dog training, bluetooth headsets, cardiovascular gym equipment, patio furniture, BBQ grill for station, laptop/computers, fingerprinting equipment and undercover vehicle upgrades.
The Foundation also supports the Deputy & Station Volunteer Recognition Program, SCV Deputy Softball Team, SCV Baker to Vegas Team Competition, Search & Rescue GPS Maps, Explorer program, Youth Activity League, Volunteers on Patrol along with community prevention and intervention programs.
These critical purchases are not covered by the Department’s budget, making the Foundation’s support vital for the deputies to effectively protect the community. The SCV Sheriff’s Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, ensuring all proceeds directly benefit our local Santa Clarita Valley station.
The tournament will begin with registration and breakfast at 8:00 am, followed by a Shotgun Start (four-person scramble format) at 10:00 am. Lunch will be served and the day will conclude with a dinner & awards program.
