The Brittany Foundation Finding Their Forever Home – Sept 2025
A non-profit humane organization dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of homeless dogs, has several dogs for adoption.
Morgan
This spirited little Chihuahua was surrendered to us along with Wally when their person passed away. While Morgan adores people, Wally tends to be hit or miss. We had hoped we could keep them together, but we’ve come to realize that this is unlikely to happen. So, although they are familiar with one another, they are not truly bonded. Therefore, we believe it would be in Morgan’s best interest to give her a chance at finding a forever home. She is enthusiastic about everything and enjoys long, adventurous walks. Currently in training and is a star.
Bonny
A goofy, 3-year old, 150-pound bundle of love, Bonny is a Central Asian Shepherd, also known as an Alabai. This breed is specifically raised to protect people and livestock, so an experienced adopter is essential. It does take a bit of time to gain her trust. She requires ample space to roam—ideally, a large piece of land—along with a job to keep her engaged and a structured environment to thrive. To see more of Bonny’s charming personality, check out our Instagram page: @thebrittanyfoundation.
Sadie
She spent the critical first few months of her life trying to survive on the streets of Los Angeles with a pack of dogs. Thankfully she was rescued, and through a friend, she ended up here. Often, she is a little unsure around men, but when she determines their intentions she becomes a puddle of love. She currently lives in a foster home where she gets rave reviews. Sadie is smart, athletic, and unbelievably loyal. She has loads of energy and would love to find a human companion who can match her love of adventure. An adult home would be best. Check out her reel on our Instagram page: @thebrittanyfoundation
BB
A blossoming 3-year-old Chihuahua with an incredible journey. Found in a church parking lot, he spent months too scared to let anyone near him. But with patience and training, he’s learning to trust—and he enjoys the company of kids and other dogs! Now, BB is ready for a forever home with an experienced adopter. Free training sessions with the person who knows him best are included to help him transition smoothly into his forever home.
Vera
This vibrant and playful 8-year-old Chihuahua has had quite the journey. After a divorce situation, she was surrendered to the Castaic shelter, where she felt frightened and overwhelmed. Unfortunately, she received the “Rescue Only” label, indicating that a rescue organization needed to step in. Since joining us, she has thrived remarkably. She is incredibly athletic and full of energy. She recently had knee surgery from an injury, but has recovered and is now anxious to find a home of her very own.
Chip
He was running out of time at the Castaic shelter before we were able to welcome him here. But he has already been here for a year and a half. He is a playful American Bulldog mix, around two years old, and strong-willed. We are looking for experienced adopters and we will even cover the cost of Chip’s additional training to ensure a smooth transition into his forever home. To see more of Chip’s silly personality, check out our Instagram page: @thebrittanyfoundation.
Jasper
When he was first surrendered to us, we never imagined that behavioral challenges would stand in the way of him finding a forever home. Jasper shines in training sessions. He is smart, eager, and a true star student. But when it comes to physical interaction, he can become uncomfortable and overstimulated, making adoption difficult for him. That’s why Jasper will remain in our care where he’s safe, loved, and continuing to learn at his own pace. A monthly sponsorship helps cover his daily needs, medical care, enrichment, and continued training. All the pups can be checked out on our Instagram page: @thebrittanyfoundation
Moe
At around 15 years old, he’s a gentle soul who has found safety and love here with us. Because of his age and temperament, adoption isn’t likely, but that doesn’t mean his best days are behind him. With your support, Moe continues to enjoy comfort, care, and dignity in his golden years. Ongoing monthly sponsorship helps provide food, medical care, and the little extras that make a big difference for senior pups like Moe. Would you consider sponsoring Moe and helping us give him the best retirement every dog deserves?
