Flamingo Box Co. Hosts The Pink Carpet Event! Founder’s Story and Book Launch in Santa Clarita

The community is invited to “strut down the pink carpet” at The Pink Carpet Event!, happening Sunday, November 2, 2025, from 3-8p.m. at Hart & Main in Newhall.
Candy Straight, local business owner of the extraordinary gift box company, Flamingo Box Co., is hosting her Founder’s Story and Book Launch Party here in Santa Clarita. Her book, The Greatest Gift is about a flamingo named Flo that goes from chaos to calm on her healing journey. This stunning book is illustrated by professional animator, Peter Markowski. Both Candy and Peter will be available for book signing at The Pink Carpet Event! Prints from the book will be available for sale. Candy will read the book live on stage and share her amazing founder’s story.
This exciting event will feature real living flamingos, whimsical decor, a sweet and savory grazing table, specialty themed cocktails, live music from local musicians, an interactive photo booth, a cotton candy cart and tons of giveaways and prizes from event sponsors. Five Dreamer Sponsors will be sharing their inspiring stories about pursuing their dreams and overcoming the odds.
The Pink Carpet Event!, is a semi-formal adults only event where the guests can compete for the “fanciest fit contest” and win a Flamingo Box. Upon arrival all guests will be welcomed onto the pink carpet with a step & repeat for photos, and then whisked away to explore the modern beautiful tri level space of Hart & Main where they will:
