Happily Ever Afternoon Tea: Once Upon 21 Years Circle of Hope’s 21st Annual Tea
Raising Funds to Support Cancer Survivors and Those Living with Cancer
Once upon a time, in the heart of the Santa Clarita Valley, a dream was born. Twenty-one years later, that dream has blossomed into a tradition beloved by all who believe in courage, compassion, and the power of community. This October, Circle of Hope invites you to step through the castle gates and into a storybook afternoon during its Happily Ever Afternoon Tea: Once Upon 21 Years, an enchanting celebration of breast cancer warriors, survivors, and those currently living with cancer.
On Saturday, October 18, 2025, at 11 a.m., Bella Vida at the SCV Senior Center will be transformed into a fairy-tale kingdom, complete with sparkling tables, lush enchanted forests, whimsical décor, and a touch of magic at every turn. Each table will tell a story all its own—drawing inspiration from beloved tales such as Beauty and the Beast, Alice in Wonderland, Snow White, Peter Pan, and more—creating a ballroom fit for royalty and heroes alike.
Your journey begins in the courtyard, where guests will be greeted with a charming outdoor reception. Sip from the dazzling Mimosa Wall, nibble on delightful brunch bites, and enjoy live music performed by NOMAD as you mingle with fellow villagers, fairy godmothers, and knights in shining armor. When the ballroom doors open, prepare to be whisked away into a world of wonder. Inside, an elegant English tea service awaits—fine china glistens, specialty teas steam invitingly, and an array of sweet and savory bites tempt even the most disciplined of princesses and princes. Sparkling cocktails will be available for those wishing to toast to courage, hope, and happily-ever-afters.
Throughout the afternoon, guests will enjoy an inspiring guest speaker presentation, the excitement of a silent auction and raffle, and the chance to win enchanting prizes. Tickets are $115 and include this magical tea experience, along with a complimentary mimosa to start the festivities in style. This event is a cornerstone of Circle of Hope’s 31 Days of Hope during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, continuing the mission to provide vital services, care, and resources to those facing cancer in our community.
No fairy tale would be complete without its noble patrons, and Circle of Hope is proud to recognize the sponsors who make this enchanted day possible. UCLA Health takes center stage as the Happily Ever After Sponsor, with City of Hope and Santa Clarita Magazine waving their wands as Fairy Godmother Sponsors. Our Once Upon a Time Sponsors—RTF&A, Dr. Marc Lussier, and Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital—help bring the magic to life, while Debbie Holbrook, our Storybook Stylist, ensures every detail is fit for a kingdom. Our Community Partners, including Funtime Captured, QM Design Group, and StoriCam, add special touches that make the day unforgettable. Media magic is conjured by KTLA 5, élite Magazine, KHTS Radio, SCVTV, and The Signal, helping to share this heartwarming story with the entire valley.
Seating is limited, and like any great fairy tale ball, this celebration is sure to sell out before the clock strikes midnight. Reserve your place today and be part of an afternoon where every sip, every laugh, and every story helps write a new chapter in the fight against cancer.
