JCI Santa Clarita Brings the Joy with Annual Santa’s Helpers Event
Santa’s Helpers are ready to haul out the holly and are seeking community support
Get ready to embrace the magic of the season with JCI Santa Clarita’s annual event, Santa’s Helpers! For over two decades, this cherished tradition has brought holiday joy and warmth to our community by delivering toys and festive spirit to underprivileged children, aged newborn to 18, across the Santa Clarita Valley.
Last year, thanks to the generosity of our community, the Santa’s Helpers toy drive made Christmas extra special for over 700 kids. This year, we’re excited to continue spreading magic and cheer. Beginning in mid-November, donation boxes will be placed throughout Santa Clarita, welcoming contributions from businesses and individuals alike. If your business experiences heavy foot traffic and would like to host a donation box, please let us know!
On December 13, at the College of the Canyons, JCI Santa Clarita will host a heartwarming holiday party for families to pick up their presents. The event will feature Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus, delightful activities, and delicious food, promising a day filled with twinkling lights, laughter, and the spirit of giving.
Co-chaired by JCI members Sammi and Dillon Lutza and Brian Wisdom, this year’s Santa’s Helpers event is set to be a truly merry and bright celebration for all!
“Every donation tells a child they are seen, valued, and loved. Santa’s Helpers is more than toys. It is a community promise that no child is left out of the joy. If your business can host a box or your family can give a little, you will help make this season brighter for hundreds of local kids,” said Co-Chair Sammi Lutza.
“Santa Clarita shows up when it counts, and this is one of those moments. From stuffing a box with a favorite toy to volunteering on pickup day, there is a role for everyone. Join us and help turn simple gifts into unforgettable holiday memories,” said Co-Chair Dillon Lutza.
“The holidays are about connection, and that is exactly what this event creates. When neighbors give and families gather, the whole valley feels it. Help us reach even more children this year by donating, sponsoring, or placing a box at your business,” said Co-Chair Brian Wisdom.
JCI Santa Clarita is looking to partner with the community, local businesses, organizations, and individuals to raise funds and donations to provide a dazzling holiday experience with food, activities, photos, and of course toys and gifts to children across the Santa Clarita Valley.
