Santa Clarita Symphony Orchestra Presents “Sounds of the Season” – A Festive Holiday Celebration
Santa Clarita Symphony Orchestra is proud to present its annual holiday concert, Sounds of the Season, on Sunday, December 7 at 4:00 PM at the Canyon High School Performing Arts Center. This joyous program brings together classical masterpieces, seasonal favorites, and spirited surprises perfect for the whole family.
This year’s concert includes Coleridge-Taylor’s Christmas Overture, a rich and festive work brimming with warmth and tradition, holiday classics such as Chadwick’s Symphonic Sketches: II. Noel and excerpts from Tchaikovsky’s The Snow Maiden. The younger audience will enjoy singing along to You’re a Mean One, Mr. Grinch and Jingle Bells.
SCSO’s own Patrick Karamian will again display his composition skills with an arrangement of First Noel. Audiences will also enjoy Klezmer 101 from Klezmer Concerto by Brian S. Wilson, a vibrant and playful tribute to Jewish musical traditions, and the electrifying Mad Russian’s Christmas—a dynamic fusion of Tchaikovsky and Trans-Siberian Orchestra energy.
Join us for a magical afternoon of music, memories, and celebration!
Tickets are available now at SCSOmusic.org. Purchase tickets to all 3 of the remaining concerts this season and get $5 off each ticket! Follow us on instagram and facebook (@scsorchestra) to be the first to receive announcements regarding the season and special events.
