Valencia Car Wash & Canyon Car Wash Teamed Up to Fight Cancer
Valencia Car Wash and Canyon Car Wash joined forces to raise money for the American Cancer Society and Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Both family-owned businesses proudly wore pink ribbons on their uniforms and donated a portion of proceeds to help fund cancer research and local patient care.
“Cancer affects every family in one way or another,” said Greg Paul, CEO. “When customers washed their cars with us that month, they were also helping fund treatment and research right here in Santa Clarita.” Co-owner Josh Block added, “Our car washes are more than just businesses—we’re part of the SCV community. Supporting the American Cancer Society and Henry Mayo was our way of giving back to the people who support us every day.”
Sandra, Manager at Valencia Car Wash, shared how the campaign inspired both staff and customers. “Our team was proud to wear pink and explain why we were doing it,” she said. “It felt good knowing every car we washed helped someone in need. The support from our customers was incredible.”
In addition to raising money for these vital causes, the two car washes launched a brand-new Fundraiser Program designed for local schools, churches, youth sports teams, scouts, and non-profits. Organizations were able to sell prepaid car wash and detailing certificates and keep 50% of every sale. Certificates never expired and could be used for hand car washes and detailing for cars, SUVs, RVs, and boats, as well as oil changes at the Valencia location—offering an easy, high-value way to raise funds.
Whether residents lived in Newhall, Saugus, Valencia, Canyon Country, or Los Angeles, the community came together to show their support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, helping fund the American Cancer Society and Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital, and making Santa Clarita shine—one clean car at a time.
