Your Donation Makes a Difference! – Assistance League of Santa Clarita®

Did you know for 30 years Assistance League of Santa Clarita® has given back over 4.8 million dollars to the Santa Clarita Valley! As an all-volunteer, nonprofit business, the Assistance League Resale Store has become the nonprofit’s primary fundraiser. The revenue generated from the Resale Store directly supports the organization’s primary mission to transform lives and strengthen the community of Santa Clarita. Your donated items directly benefit Assistance League’s eight community-based philanthropic programs.  All of these programs combined aid thousands of individuals in the Santa Clarita Valley every year. 
Unlike other for-profit second-hand businesses, the Assistance League Resale Store is run by a team of dedicated member volunteers.  Gently used clothing and household items donated to Assistance League of Santa Clarita are processed daily. All of your donated items make a positive impact on the community. The Resale Store not only gives a new life to your once beloved possessions, but it helps to make a difference in the lives of underserved children and families in the Santa Clarita Valley.  Your donations reduce waste by lessening the impact on our local landfills and conserve resources. Donated items provide a more budget friendly option to those who may have financial constraints while providing access to quality items at lower prices. Shopping at the Resale Store is a great option for furnishing a short -term living space such as a dorm room. Regardless of the need for the item purchased, it can make a positive impact on the customer as well as the SCV community.  It is also important to note that all the benefits of your donations stay within the Santa Clarita Valley.  The Resale Store shoppers love to find the deals, but regular customers are aware that all those purchases add up to the dollars needed to fund Assistance League’s philanthropic programs. 
Assistance League appreciates your donations. Your gently-use clothing and other household goods are accepted each Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 10 AM to 12 PM.
