Destiny McCune, SCV 40 Under Forty Honoree
Destiny McCune is a proud Santa Clarita native whose passion for service has shaped nearly a decade of meaningful work across the nonprofit sector. From the beginning of her career, she has understood the power of outreach, education, and connection to transform lives. Her efforts have consistently focused on empowering youth, strengthening families, and creating opportunities for people to come together in support of causes that build stronger communities.
Destiny is known for her rare combination of compassion and strategic leadership. She has secured major grants that expanded essential services, led awareness campaigns that reached thousands across the Santa Clarita and Antelope Valleys, and organized large community events that continue to inspire action and unity. Her ability to bring people together, whether around a shared mission or a vital program, has helped countless children and families access the resources and support they need.
Her career is defined not only by results, but by the heart behind them. Destiny believes that true leadership is rooted in listening, understanding, and lifting others up. She works to amplify community voices, build partnerships, and create safe and inclusive spaces where families feel seen and supported. The programs she has helped grow continue to make a lasting difference across the region.
Outside of her professional life, Destiny is a devoted wife and mother who finds joy and purpose in the life she builds with her family. She often says that legacy is something you live each day through small acts of service and the example you set for others. Her recognition as an SCV 40 Under Forty honoree is a reflection of that belief, celebrating a leader who shows every day that positive change begins with dedication, kindness, and a commitment to the community you call home.
