Salvation Army Invites the Community to Celebrate the Red Kettle Campaign Kick-Off
The Salvation Army Santa Clarita Valley Corps invites the community to join in celebrating the annual Red Kettle Campaign Kick-off. As one of the City’s official North Pole Partners, the Corps is proud to begin the holiday season and inspire local giving that directly impacts families throughout Santa Clarita.
“The Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Campaign has been a cornerstone of holiday giving for generations,” said Captain Purnell Hall. “As we kick off the season here in Santa Clarita, we’re reminded of how much local support truly means. Every dollar placed in a red kettle stays right here at home, helping us provide toys for children, warm clothing for individuals experiencing homelessness, meals for families in need and ongoing programs at our Lyons Avenue center.”
There are many ways for the community to get involved this season. When you spot a kettle and hear the familiar bells, consider making a donation. You can give with cash or by using the new tap-to-pay credit card system. To donate online, visit SCVSalvationArmy.org.
You can also become part of a meaningful holiday tradition by volunteering as a bell ringer. The Salvation Army Santa Clarita Valley Corps is seeking volunteers to help staff kettle stations across the community. Bring friends, family or neighbors and help spread Christmas cheer while raising funds that directly support local families. To sign up, visit SantaClaritaVolunteers.com or call (661) 210-1037.
The Salvation Army Santa Clarita Valley Corps provides vital resources through food, shelter, addiction support, youth programs and more.
