The Elves of JCI Santa Clarita Are Hard At Work For The Annual Santa’s Helpers Event

JCI Santa Clarita is in full holiday mode as its annual Santa’s Helpers event ramps up, and organizers are calling on the community to help make this year the most impactful yet. Co-chairs Dillon and Sammi Lutza and Brian Wisdom share how local residents can support this beloved tradition of giving.
“Santa’s Helpers is a holiday toy drive and a holiday experience benefiting underprivileged children in the Santa Clarita Valley,” said Sammi.
“This is a meaningful way to give back to families who need it most. The holiday season is the perfect time for our community to show up for one another,” added Dillon.
Each year, JCI Santa Clarita brings together local businesses, organizations, and individual donors to provide brand-new toys, gifts, and joyful holiday moments for children across the SCV.
“We need additional volunteers. These children deserve something truly magical, and we are asking everyone in Santa Clarita to go all in for them,” shared co-chair Brian.
There are many ways to get involved:

• Join Santa’s Helpers Gift Sorting and Gift Wrapping Parties. Dates are Sunday December 1 through Thursday December 5 from 6 pm to 9 pm, Saturday December 6 from 9 am to 9 pm, and Sunday December 7 through Friday December 12 from 6 pm to 9 pm. Sign up through the volunteer link.
• Help with Santa’s Helper Transport Day on Friday December 12 at 5:30 pm. Toys will be moved from the COC Student Center to the University Center.
The main Santa’s Helpers event takes place Saturday December 13 from 9:30 am to 4 pm at the University Center at College of the Canyons at 26455 Rockwell Canyon Rd in Santa Clarita.
