A New Year of Growth Starts Here – Newhall School District
January is one of my favorite times of the school year. Our students return from winter break with renewed excitement, fresh curiosity, and a sense of possibility that fills every classroom. At Newhall School District, we embrace this season as a time to spark new learning, strengthen connections, and open doors for the next generation of thinkers, creators, and leaders.
Across our 10 award-winning TK–6th grade schools, students are engaging with hands-on STEAM lessons, exploring the arts, building language skills, and collaborating with peers in ways that deepen both understanding and confidence. Whether they are investigating a science concept, starting a group project, or learning a new musical piece, our students discover that learning is a journey that grows with them.
What makes this growth possible is our extraordinary team of educators and support staff. They bring knowledge, care, and creativity into every lesson, ensuring each child feels supported, challenged, and seen. Their dedication creates classrooms where students thrive academically and feel a true sense of belonging.
As families begin thinking about the next school year, I invite you to join us for our upcoming Open House on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at Oak Hills Elementary from 6:00–7:30 PM. You will have the opportunity to learn more about early childhood education, tour classrooms, and attend breakout sessions highlighting our music, arts, and curriculum programs.
We look forward to welcoming your family and helping your child begin a new year of growth, discovery, and possibility.
