A Note From the Publishers – Jan 2026
As we welcome 2026, I want to begin by wishing our readers, advertisers, partners, and the entire Santa Clarita Valley community a happy, healthy, and successful New Year. January is always a time for fresh starts, reflection, and looking ahead, and this issue of Santa Clarita Magazine truly captures the heart, history, and generosity of our community as we step into the year ahead.
A new year also brings a new look and a meaningful milestone for Santa Clarita Magazine. As we celebrate our 36th year serving the Santa Clarita Valley, we are proud to introduce our new logo. While the design has been refreshed, our mission remains unchanged: to highlight local stories, support our community, and connect readers with the people and organizations that make Santa Clarita such a special place. We are grateful to our loyal readers and partners who have been part of this journey with us for more than three decades.
Our cover story this month honors a very special milestone: the Santa Clarita Valley Historical Society’s 50th anniversary. For five decades, the Historical Society has worked tirelessly to preserve the stories, landmarks, and legacy that define who we are as a community. Through exhibitions, educational programs, archives, and community outreach, they ensure that Santa Clarita’s rich past is not only remembered, but shared with future generations. We are proud to feature this remarkable organization and celebrate its continued impact on our Valley.
One of the most meaningful sections in this January issue is our Santa Clarita Nonprofit Wish List. This extensive feature spans six pages and includes more than 70 local nonprofit organizations, each sharing what they need most in 2026 to continue serving our community. These wish lists range from volunteers and board members to funding, supplies, and professional services. Santa Clarita is fortunate to have such a strong nonprofit community, and we encourage our readers to take a moment to explore this section, reach out, get involved, volunteer, or donate. Supporting local nonprofits strengthens our Valley in powerful and lasting ways.
Also featured in this issue is our 2026 Business Directory, highlighting 25 trusted local professionals across a variety of industries. Whether you’re looking for expert services, guidance, or support to get a job done right, this directory is designed to connect you with businesses that are invested in our community and ready to help.
We’re also excited to bring you seven “On the Town” event features this month, showcasing over 70 photographs of community members attending events, celebrations, and gatherings throughout the Valley. These pages spotlight the movers, shakers, and everyday residents who are making a difference, so be sure to flip through the pages and see if you or someone you know is pictured.
Putting together an issue of this size is no small task. With 100 pages, more than 300 live links, and countless details to manage, producing Santa Clarita Magazine truly is a team effort. Every issue is carefully crafted to ensure accuracy, connection, and relevance, and we are proud to bring you local stories, resources, and inspiration in one place.
Thank you for reading, supporting local, and being part of the Santa Clarita Magazine family. Here’s to a wonderful 2026 and another year of celebrating everything that makes our Valley such a special place to call home.
Happy New Year!
Linda, Moe & Alex Hafizi
