The Brittany Foundation Finding Their Forever Home – Feb 2026
A non-profit humane organization dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of homeless dogs, has several dogs for adoption.
FLUFFY
Fluffy is cute, clever, and a little complicated, and that’s okay. This Golden Spaniel mix is smart, playful, and full of personality, but he needs patience and time to feel safe with new people. He is not shy about setting boundaries while he learns to trust. Once that trust is earned, Fluffy turns into the sweetest, silliest, most loyal sidekick. He loves his toys, enjoys a good game of fetch, and will happily keep you laughing with his goofy charm. Fluffy is looking for an adult-only home with someone who understands that good relationships take time. A few visits at the rescue will help start your bond off on the right paw.
BONNY
Bonny is a Central Asian Shepherd, also known as an Alabai, an ancient livestock-guardian breed known for loyalty and strong protective instincts. Due to neglect during a critical stage of development, she needs an experienced and understanding home. About 3 years old and 150 pounds, Bonny would thrive on a property with plenty of space, a calm routine, and the same comforts she enjoys at the sanctuary, including toys, soft bedding, and shelter. With committed caregivers who understand her breed, Bonny is ready to thrive and offer deep loyalty and companionship.
JASPER
Jasper is absolutely adorable, smart, and playful. He loves to work and be engaged, but cuddling and petting are not his thing. After a life of constant upheaval, including multiple shelter stays, adoption is not an option for him. When we first meet dogs, introductions are usually brief, and we rely on our instincts to understand what each dog needs. For Jasper, the right structure, patience, and consistent care are what allow him to thrive. Though he may not be a lapdog, Jasper has a unique personality and brings joy in his own way. He will always have a place here, with the care and stability he deserves. Sponsor Jasper and help provide the love, care, and structure he needs every day.
SADIE
Sadie’s story began on the streets of Los Angeles, where she spent her first months surviving alongside a pack of other dogs. After being rescued and briefly placed in a foster home that was not fully prepared for a young, energetic pup, she came into our care and has since been thriving in a wonderful foster home. Sadie receives glowing reviews from everyone she meets. She can be a little cautious around men at first, but once she feels safe, she becomes incredibly affectionate. Smart, athletic, and loyal, Sadie is full of energy and curiosity. She is looking for a loving home and a human companion who can keep up with her playful spirit and share in her love of exploration. She is ready to bring joy, loyalty, and companionship to the right family and maybe even become someone’s favorite kind of love story.
CHIP
Chip may be only three years old, but he’s already proven how resilient and loving he can be. This 80-pound bully breed boy has a big heart, gentle eyes, and a playful, loyal nature. He is looking for an experienced adopter who understands strong breeds and can provide the structure and guidance he needs to succeed. Chip will do best in a home without small pets or young children, where patience, consistency, and care come first. In return, he will offer unwavering loyalty and a best friend for life.
VERA
Vera is a vibrant and playful 9-year-old Chihuahua with energy and personality to spare. After being surrendered to the Castaic Shelter, she was left feeling frightened and overwhelmed and was labeled Rescue Only until she found her second chance with us. Since arriving, Vera has truly flourished. She is athletic, curious, and full of life, thriving with playtime, attention, and companionship. With Valentine’s Day around the corner, Vera is ready to give her whole heart to a family who will adore her just as much as she adores them. She would love a home that can match her enthusiasm and zest for life while providing the love and engagement she deserves. Check out Vera’s highlight reel on Instagram at @thebrittanyfoundation. Vera is ready to bring joy, energy, companionship, and plenty of love to her lucky forever family.
HOLLY
Holly’s love story had a few false starts. She was adopted as a puppy, returned when her family grew, and later found herself back in rescue when that organization shut down. Now, after more than five years in rescue, Holly is still waiting for her forever match. She is the perfect medium-sized girl with a sweet, quirky personality. Holly knows what she wants and sets clear boundaries. She is looking for a home with no kids and no other animals. With her people, she is as loving as can be. She enjoys slow, cozy mornings and happily greets familiar faces with a toy and a wagging tail.
BB
BB is a bright and brave 3-year-old Chihuahua whose journey is just beginning. Found alone in a church parking lot, he spent months too scared to let anyone near him. Today, he lights up whenever he sees kids and loves playing and socializing with other dogs. He’s looking for young hearts to grow up with and share his adventures. A few visits at the rescue will help him feel comfortable and start building the trust he needs to bloom into the sweet, loyal companion he’s meant to be.
