Warmth, Texture, and the Art of Cozy Living – Liz Anne Designs
As we step into February interior design, trends will be embracing warmth, texture, and cozy styles. This season’s pallets will be soft and earthy tones, muted terra-cottas, sage greens, dusty roses, and of course warm creams. These colors are airy and sophisticated and are perfect to transform any home into a sanctuary for each individual. This transitional period between winter and spring is a fabulous time to showcase all of your home’s architectural elements. I do this with simple lighting tricks and bringing attention to my clients lighting fixtures. Which of course are statement pieces all on their own. Natural materials are always important, such as sustainable woods, recycled metals, and organic textures. These will dominate in this year’s design trends. Furniture with visible grains and handcrafted finishes will bring richness to any space. Using wooden baskets, rattan accents and artisanal touches will give a home a personal and organic feeling. February also allows me to begin to think about bringing the outdoors in. It’s always important to find plants that work well in your home. They enhance the visual appeal of any interior. In addition improve the well-being and the quality of life for my clients. February‘s interior design direction is about creating spaces that are inviting, warm and personal.
