A Note From the Publishers
As we welcome March—and the spirit of renewal it brings, many in our community also look forward to Nowruz, the Persian New Year, celebrated on March 21. Rooted in themes of rebirth, fresh beginnings and hope, Nowruz beautifully mirrors what we experience each spring in the Santa Clarita Valley. After a season of generous rain, our hillsides are alive with vibrant shades of green, dotted with wildflowers that seem to stretch endlessly beneath bright blue skies. It’s a beautiful reminder of renewal, growth and the incredible community we are blessed to call home.
This month’s cover shines a spotlight on four remarkable non-profits making a meaningful impact right here in our valley. Soroptimist International of Valencia invites you to Laughs For A Cause on April 16 at the intimate venue Hart & Main. Laughs for a Cause 2026 promises more than exceptional entertainment, it’s a celebration of community, connection and purpose, with proceeds supporting programs that empower women and girls to achieve their dreams.
The Santa Clarita Master Chorale presents Cabaret & Cabernet – Celebrate the Wonderful World of Disney on March 21 at the Canyon Country Community Center. Guests will enjoy a sumptuous dinner, plenty of cabernet, and beloved songs from the classic Disney songbook, along with auctions and raffles for what promises to be a fabulous evening.
On March 28, Circle of Hope hosts Vine2Wine at the stunning Bella Vida. This year’s Mediterranean Toga Affair will transport guests to a coastal vineyard setting while supporting a mission that changes lives locally.
Also at Bella Vida on April 25, the SCV Senior Center celebrates an incredible milestone, 50 years of service, with All That Glitters is Gold: The Golden Gala. For five decades, the SCV Senior Center has been a foundation of support, providing nutritious meals, transportation, wellness programs, social activities and vital resources that allow older adults to age with dignity and connection. Their golden anniversary is more than a celebration, it is a tribute to the volunteers, staff and community partners who have ensured that our seniors are cared for, valued and never forgotten.
There is no shortage of ways to get involved this March and April, and we’ve covered them all. Be sure to flip through our pages, where you will find our Sumptuous Spring Dining Guide, our Kids Education & Summer Camp Guide, our CPA Guide just in time for tax season, and our comprehensive Spring Home & Garden Directory to connect with trusted local professionals.
We invite you to check out the March/April issue of our sister publication, élite Magazine, where we celebrate our Ultimate Awards in the categories of Business, Bridal, Beauty and Fitness. As always, thank you to our loyal readers and valued advertisers. We truly could not do this without your continued support. Here’s to a vibrant, beautiful spring in the Santa Clarita Valley!
Until next time!
