From Comedy to Suspense: Canyon Theatre Guild Has It All This Spring
Spring is here, and there’s no better way to celebrate than with an evening of captivating theater at the Canyon Theatre Guild in Newhall. From March 20 through April 26, 2026, the Guild is presenting two shows that promise laughter, suspense, and unforgettable entertainment.
First up is Boeing Boeing, a hysterical ‘60s French farce that has delighted audiences worldwide. With its rapid-fire dialogue, unexpected twists, and a whirlwind of mistaken identities, this play is a comedic tour de force that will keep you laughing from start to finish. It’s perfect for anyone who loves classic farce and the art of timing.
For those who crave suspense, Wait Until Dark offers a completely different but equally thrilling experience. This spine-tingling thriller follows a blind woman caught in a web of danger, facing cunning criminals in a fight for her life. Made famous by the iconic 1967 film, the stage version delivers tension, surprises, and a gripping finale that will leave you on the edge of your seat.
Tickets are affordably priced at $20 for adults, $18 for seniors (62+), and $15 for students, making it easy for the whole family—or a night out with friends—to enjoy live theater. Please note that these productions are not recommended for young children due to their themes and content.
Whether you’re looking for belly laughs, suspense, or a chance to see some great, live, local theatre, the Canyon Theatre Guild is the place to be this spring. With two incredible shows running simultaneously, there’s something for every theater lover to enjoy.
Canyon Theatre Guild is located at: 24242 Main Street, Newhall. Call them for tickets or more information. 661-799-2702 | www.canyontheatre.org
