MET GALA SCV Support Cancer Culture Saturday, March 14, 2026
MET GALA SCV, the Santa Clarita Valley’s premier fundraising gala benefiting metastatic breast cancer MBC research, today announced UCLA Health as its Grand Architect Presenting Sponsor and Emmy nominated *Dancing with the Stars* professional Edyta Sliwinska as the evening’s emcee for the 2026 event. The gala will take place on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at Blomgren Ranch in Santa Clarita with doors opening at 5:30 PM for cocktail hour and dinner at 6:30 PM. The evening will feature live and silent auctions, moments honoring those affected by MBC, and sponsor recognition throughout the night. “UCLA Health’s support demonstrates the power of community partnership in the fight against metastatic breast cancer,” said Eva Miranda Crawford, Thriver Event Chair. “Combined with Edyta Sliwinska’s star power as emcee, it will be an unforgettable evening that drives real impact for patients and families.”
Metastatic breast cancer, cancer that spreads beyond the breast to vital organs, claims an average of 115 lives every day in the United States. Fewer than one third of patients survive beyond five years. All funds raised at MET GALA SCV support Cancer Culture, a patient led 501(c)(3) organization accelerating breakthroughs in MBC research and amplifying the voices of those living with the disease.
Guests are invited to embrace the signature dress code, Victorian Whimsy with Steampunk Spark, where Bridgerton era elegance meets bold resilient spirit. Think silk gowns, corsets, waistcoats, brass gears, vibrant feathers, and metallic accents.
Thriver Event Chair: Eva Miranda Crawford, Event Co Chair: Bill Miranda Honorary Co Chair, In Memoriam: Dr. Amy Steffe Lohmann 1977 to 2023, Event Committee: Anita Singh, Nickie DeTolve, Caitlyn Somers, Scarlett Spendlove, Amy Spendlove
MET GALA SCV extends heartfelt gratitude to Santa Clarita Magazine as the official Media Sponsor, whose partnership amplifies awareness and fundraising efforts throughout the Santa Clarita Valley. The organization also thanks its Guild Patron Sponsor for generous support. Partnerships like these expand impact, elevate patient voices, and bring the community together for an evening of purpose and hope.
